About Shikhar Dhawan
Shikhar Dhawan is a rising star of the Indian cricket team. This lad from New Delhi, who is also known as ‘Gabbar’ is a fan favorite and a top-class cricketer. Shikhar Dhawan debuted playing for the Indian cricket team in an ODI match against rivals Australia in Vishakhapatnam. With regards to his test debut, he made it again against Australia in 2013 at Mohali, Punjab.
If we talk about his family background, then he belongs to a Punjabi family from New Delhi. He played the role of a wicketkeeper when he first started playing cricket. He also is a prolific IPL (Indian Premier League) player. Shikhar Dhawan initially used to play for the team ‘Delhi Daredevils’. But after the very first season, he started representing the Mumbai Indians. After playing for the Mumbai Indians for two seasons, He was bought by Deccan Chargers.
